  환경부는 탄소중립 실천 및 확산을 도모하고자 공공·민간을 아우르는 '2023년 탄소중립 경연대회'를 아래와 같이 개최하여 기후변화 대응을 위한 온실가스 감축, 기후변화 교육·홍보 등에 있어 우수사례를 발굴·전파하고 탄소중립에 기여한 기관·단체 등을 시상하고자 하오니, 동 경연대회에 대한 관심 및 참여를 요청 드립니다.

나. 행사목적: 탄소중립 생활실천 우수사례 발굴·전파 및 시상

다. 참가대상: 지자체, 교육기관, 민간(공동주택, 마을공동체 등), 기업·기관 등

라. 시상규모: 환경부 장관상(20점) 및 상금(총1,800만원)

  In order to promote the practice and spread of carbon neutrality, the Ministry of Environment holds the '2023 Carbon Neutrality Contest' encompassing the public and private sectors as follows to discover and disseminate best practices in greenhouse gas reduction and climate change education and promotion to respond to climate change. We would like to award institutions and organizations that have contributed to carbon neutrality, so we ask for your interest and participation in this contest.



- Event Name: 2023 Carbon Neutral Contest

- Purpose of the event: Discovering, disseminating and awarding excellent cases of carbon-neutral living practices

- Participants: local governments, educational institutions, private sector (apartment houses, village communities, etc.), companies/institutions, etc.

- Award scale: Minister of Environment Award (20 points) and prize money (total 18 million won)

- Participation areas and details: Please refer to the attached guide.

- Application period: '23.9.11.(Monday). ~ 10.20.(Fri)
